In this role, you will guide Tenstorrent through its growth phase within the highly regulated, rapidly evolving, and prominent AI industry. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, is eager to learn about a complex product, and balances hard work with a positive attitude. This is a hybrid role based in Santa Clara, CA.

Requirements

Juris Doctor degree
Active membership in at least one state bar
7+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
Experience sufficient to comfortably advise on a very broad range of legal issues
Demonstrated interest in learning about complicated things
Demonstrated interest to build processes that improve a growing business
A point of view and willingness to engage others’ points of view
Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology, subject to U.S. export laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Advise on a broad range of legal issues including intellectual property, sales, marketing, patent portfolio management, trademarks, standards participation, business development, M&A, recruiting, and procurement.
Build processes that improve a growing business.
Engage with non-legal partners to grow the business.
Make decisions and write legal documents.
Become a trusted legal advisor who empowers teams to move quickly and confidently.
