About The Position
This is a full-time position at Starbucks, where the Teammate ensures the total operation and service meets standards, providing customers with prompt service, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation per Price Chopper standards through supervision of Baristas. The Teammate assists the Food Service Manager with daily operating procedures, including quality Price Chopper operations, financials, and training of Barista associates. The role emphasizes providing fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, determining customer needs, making product suggestions, and engaging in sampling and suggestive selling. The Teammate is also responsible for assisting in hiring, coaching, and training new associates to Barista Certification, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures, and maintaining health, safety, and food safety guidelines. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and customer service area, demonstrating a "just say yes" attitude, preparing beverage orders, performing cleaning tasks, following merchandising and stocking standards, ensuring equipment maintenance, and handling cash transactions are key aspects of the role.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
- Determine customer needs and make suggestions for appropriate products.
- Engage in sampling and suggestive selling, ending each customer transaction with a "Thank You".
- Assist Food Service Manager in hiring new associates.
- Coach and train new associates to Barista Certification.
- Ensure self and Certified Barista associates follow store, Price Chopper policies and procedures.
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines for all products.
- Assist customers in product selection.
- Maintain customer service area, including equipment, in a clean and appealing manner.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
- Demonstrate a "just say yes" behavior when taking care of customers.
- Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders to Price Chopper standards.
- Perform all cleaning tasks in accordance with schedules and cleaning standards.
- Follow all merchandising standards, stocking, and rotation.
- Ensure all equipment maintenance is followed to procedure and schedule.
- Perform all cash handling and register policies and procedures and accountability.
