The Starbucks Store Manager will provide oversight and management to the Starbucks Store located in the Sunriver Village Mall. S/he will manage the training of all staff to ensure excellent service standards. The Starbucks Store Manager will always conduct him/herself/themself in a manner that supports Sunriver Resort’s Core Values: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment He/She/They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the destination and Employer of Choice!

Requirements

  • Progressively responsible retail experience preferred: 2< Years
  • Supervision of 10+ associates required: 1< Years
  • Experience analyzing financial reports
  • Ability to manage store operations independently
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously
  • Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are achieved at all times
  • Interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and management to the Starbucks Store.
  • Manage the training of all staff to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Exemplify the Sunriver Resort Culture and promote Sunriver Resort as a destination and Employer of Choice.
  • Lead a team of associates to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for customers and partners.
  • Supervise and direct the workforce, making staffing decisions (hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffing and scheduling).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Manage the store's financial performance.
  • Manage safety and security within the store.
  • Set goals for the work group, develop organizational capability, and model how to work together.
  • Demonstrate a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manage smooth transitions.
  • Train and hold partners accountable for delivering legendary customer service.
  • Drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and instructing the store team.
  • Manage with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks and Sunriver Resort.
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities and practices to store partners.
  • Provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitor and manage store staffing levels for partner development and talent acquisition.
  • Utilize existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and filter communications to the store team.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately to ensure effective store operations.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt partners and minors.
  • Solicit customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community.
  • Use operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store.
  • Access external resources to support store operations and execute district and regional initiatives.
  • Utilize management information tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
  • Actively manage store partners by conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals.
  • Manage ongoing partner performance using performance management tools.
  • Challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with partners in the local area.
  • Ensure partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments.
  • Utilize and demonstrate effective management principles and practices to create and maintain a successful store team.
