About The Position

The Starbucks Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Starbucks department, ensuring exceptional beverage quality, outstanding customer service, and operational excellence. This role drives sales performance, develops a strong team, and ensures full compliance with company and Starbucks brand standards.

Requirements

  • Previous food service, coffee, or retail management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Starbucks operations including beverage production and service
  • Ensure all drinks and food items meet Starbucks quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked department
  • Ensure proper execution of all Starbucks programs and procedures
  • Hire, train, and develop Starbucks baristas and leads
  • Create schedules to support business needs and labor targets
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Foster a positive, fast-paced, and customer-focused team environment
  • Deliver and model exceptional customer service standards
  • Ensure speed of service and order accuracy
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Build customer loyalty through consistent, high-quality experiences
  • Drive department sales, profitability, and growth
  • Manage labor, waste, and inventory costs
  • Execute promotions, seasonal launches, and upselling strategies
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement plans
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory levels
  • Ensure product freshness, rotation, and proper storage
  • Control shrink, waste, and out-of-stock conditions
  • Maintain accurate pricing and signage
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Follow all Starbucks and company operational guidelines
  • Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers
  • Ensure all required certifications and training are up to date
