About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare quality beverages and create a positive customer experience. You make coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items using established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistency and presentation. You keep the work area clean, safe, and organized; restock supplies; and prepare equipment and service areas for continuous use. You collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow, particularly during busy periods. You greet customers, take orders, answer questions, and help make each visit positive.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
• Follow recipes and procedures accurately to maintain quality and consistency.
• Prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing service demands.
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.

• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.
