About The Position

As a Starbucks Barista, you prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistency and presentation. You help create a positive customer experience by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and following up on requests. The role also involves keeping work, service, and equipment areas clean, safe, stocked, and ready for use, and collaborating with team members to maintain an efficient workflow, particularly during busy periods.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing service demands.
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
