About The Position

Klute is a growing, family-owned steel fabrication company seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join their team. The role involves building high-quality steel components for substation and transmission line projects nationwide. This position offers a 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with a guaranteed 3-day weekend every week, a day shift schedule, and competitive pay starting at $26/hour with growth opportunities. Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment

Nice To Haves

• AAS in Welding preferred
• 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Lay out, position, align, and tack components
• Perform high-quality GMAW welds
• Ensure products meet exact dimensional and quality specifications
• Use measuring tools to confirm proper fit-up before welding
• Operate a fork truck to move materials between workstations
• May assist with oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, handheld plasma cutting, and hand tools
• Become certified to operate an overhead crane
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Report unsafe conditions or nonconforming products to leadership
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
