Standard Screens Assembler - 1st Shift
About The Position
Quanex is looking for a 1st Shift Standard Screens Assembler to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, with overtime needs varying daily during the busy season. The hourly range for this position begins at $18.50/hr with the opportunity for pay increases on an annual basis. This role offers a fast-paced environment with lightweight production and assembly work, a variety of job tasks, and opportunities for training, cross-training, and career advancement. Nice To Haves
- Production, assembly, warehouse, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up production equipment.
- Manually fabricate window and door screens and install screen cloth.
- Palletize finished goods.
- Perform quality checks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Work efficiently with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures and promptly report existing or potential hazards to the supervisor or team lead.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled hours.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
