About The Position

The Standard Products Assembler works in the Standard Products Department, assembling and wiring electrical or electronic components such as control panels, chassis, circuit boards, and high-voltage transformers. The work follows mostly repetitive production standards. Applicants with good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude are considered, and on-the-job training is provided. Soldering and wiring experience are beneficial but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate; additional experience may be considered in lieu of the required level of education.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to collaborate with other team members.
• Detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Soldering experience.
• Wiring experience.
• Ability to read a schematic.

Responsibilities

• Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to Master book specifications, with supervision.
• Mount assembled components, including transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panels.
• Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment and basic hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Complete other tasks as necessary.
