About The Position
This role involves operating a stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack to transfer raw materials and finished products within a manufacturing plant. The position requires adherence to safety, food safety, and good manufacturing practices, along with maintaining a clean work area. It is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions with accuracy.
Nice To Haves
- 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transfer raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
- Transfer finished products from the production line to freezer.
- Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to storage area; organize according to facility specifications.
- Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
- Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from department.
- Comply with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices and any other operational policies as established.
- Understand and implement appropriate safety procedures through education, training, use of protective equipment, and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
