Night Shift - Stand-up Forklift/Reach Truck Operator
About The Position
Pet Supermarket is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join their warehouse team as a Stand-up Forklift/Reach Truck Operator on the night shift. The role involves moving merchandise to various locations within the Distribution Center, ensuring products are properly labeled and protected, and verifying product placement using hand-held devices while following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles. The operator will also be responsible for safely operating motorized equipment and reporting any deviations or damages to a supervisor. Requirements
- Should have previous stand-up forklift/reach truck experience
- History of safe, accident-free driving
Responsibilities
- Move merchandise to various locations in the Distribution Center
- Ensure that products are properly labeled
- Ensure product is protected i.e., skid is not overhanging in aisle
- Ensure product is moved and verified to the right bin location utilizing hand-held devices
- Following FIFO i.e., First In, First Out
- Operate motorized equipment adhering to all safety guidelines
- Notify supervisor of any deviations, damages, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
