About The Position

Ensures orders are processed in accordance with the Boar’s Head's customer service standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse or distribution center. Works without close supervision; typically reports to a lead, supervisor, and/or manager. This is a full-time position in the Shipping/Receiving department on the 2nd shift.

Requirements

Regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to climb or balance.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Regularly exposed to extreme cold.
Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Responsibilities

Performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
Keeping pace with work area and team.
Working as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicating well with other team members.
Maintaining a positive and productive working relationship with all associates, coworkers and upper management.
Shipping/Receiving in Dock Area.
Operating Fork Lift.
Assisting other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
Following company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules and Policies.
Following written and oral instructions.
Striving to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
Keeping work area clean.
Performing other duties as assigned.
