Stand Up Forklift Operator - 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
About The Position
This is a Temp-to-Full-Time Stand Up Forklift Operator position. The starting hourly pay is $17.00. All associates must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Interested candidates must have recent (1-year or less) experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift. The shift is from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Employees are allowed a paid, 30-minute lunch break, but are not permitted to leave the facility during this time. Breakrooms with microwaves and refrigerators are available. Specific dress code and item restrictions are in place for the production floor, including no jewelry, closed-toe shoes, no sleeveless shirts, clear water bottles only, no food/candy/gum, no personal vehicles during breaks, designated smoking areas, and no electronic devices like Air Pods, earbuds, headphones, or cell phones on the production floor. Hoodies are allowed but the hood cannot be worn while working. Absences and tardies are strictly managed through Paycom and agency notification, with a limit of 2 absences or 3 tardies without extenuating circumstances and HR approval.
Requirements
- Recent (1-year or less) experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must pass a 5-Panel, oral swab drug screening
- Must pass a background check (client is a 2nd chance company, offenses reviewed case-by-case)
- Must be e-Verified via Paycom onboarding
- Certifications on Stand Up and Sit Down forklifts (will be tested prior to start date)
- Closed toe shoes
- No sleeveless shirts
- Water must be in a clear bottle on the production floor
- No food, candy, or gum on the production floor
- No Air Pods, Ear Buds, or headphones
- Cell phones are not allowed on the production floor
- Hoodies are allowed, but associates cannot wear the hood while at work
- Enter absences into Paycom an hour before shift starts and notify the agency
- No more than 2 absences or 3 tardies allowed unless extenuating circumstances with documentation and HR approval
