About The Position

The Stand Lead is responsible for the oversight of their assigned location (may be several) to include but is not limited to inventory control, guest service expectations and management, food safety and sanitation procedures, responsible alcohol service, fostering a teamwork environment, along with delegation of various tasks as required. Located at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, this role offers the opportunity to work in a professional sports and events venue. PNC Field is a 10,000-seat professional baseball stadium featuring a full-size ballpark, multiple concession areas, premium seating, suites, and event spaces. The venue hosts not only baseball games but is proud to host a range of other events throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to handle cash and inventory efficiently.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a food service worker or concessions stand worker preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinates activities of stand workers, assigning duties within the stand.
  • Analyzes and resolves all problems with the assistance of the Concessions Supervisor and/or Operations Managers.
  • Oversees and/or participates in stand set-up and closing procedures.
  • Ensures that all work stations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked.
  • Ordering replacement stock from the warehouse as needed.
  • Efficiently and accurately completely necessary paperwork, such as stand sheets.
  • On an event basis, ensures accuracy of location banks, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and employee meals.
  • Keeps a quality appearance of the concessions location at all times.
  • Ensures at closing all equipment and the stand is properly cleaned and organized for the next event, and paperwork is turned in.
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  • Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
