About The Position

The Stand Lead is responsible for the oversight of their assigned location (which may include several) at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. This role involves managing inventory control, ensuring guest service expectations are met, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures, practicing responsible alcohol service, and fostering a teamwork environment. The Stand Lead will also delegate various tasks as required. PNC Field is a 10,000-seat professional baseball stadium featuring a full-size ballpark, multiple concession areas, premium seating, suites, and event spaces. The venue hosts not only baseball games but also a range of other events throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to handle cash and inventory efficiently.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a food service worker or concessions stand worker.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of stand workers, assigning duties within the stand.
  • Analyze and resolve all problems with the assistance of the Concessions Supervisor and/or Operations Managers.
  • Oversee and/or participate in stand set-up and closing procedures.
  • Ensure that all work stations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked.
  • Order replacement stock from the warehouse as needed.
  • Efficiently and accurately complete necessary paperwork, such as stand sheets.
  • On an event basis, ensure accuracy of location banks, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and employee meals.
  • Keep a quality appearance of the concessions location at all times.
  • Ensure at closing all equipment and the stand is properly cleaned and organized for the next event, and paperwork is turned in.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adhere to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  • Available to work non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays).
