About The Position
Charter Manufacturing is seeking a Production Operator for their 81st Street facility in the Stamping Department. This is a 3rd shift manufacturing job operating multiple machines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment. The role involves producing specialized parts for global customers with a strong focus on quality. Operators will perform inspections and basic troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required (company will pay for GED program if needed).
- Must be able to meet the minimum physical requirements of the job, with or without accommodation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
Responsibilities
- Run up to four stamping machines to ensure production of specialized parts that meet customers' quality requirements.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail for quality.
- Perform inspections.
- Perform basic troubleshooting.
