About The Position

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of our Granby laboratory, you will perform quality control of fresh concrete, bituminous mix compaction, and granular foundations on site. You will also perform related tests and administrative tasks assigned to you. Possibility of performing laboratory tests on different types of materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering in progress;
• The ASP card is mandatory;
• You have a valid driver's license and access to a car (transport to the construction site will be reimbursed);
• You are able to lift loads of 20-25 kg.

Nice To Haves

• AEC or DEC in Civil Engineering (asset);

Responsibilities

• Perform material control on site (fresh concrete, bituminous mixes, granular foundations, etc.);
• Material control consists of monitoring placement, collecting samples, checking the characteristics of different materials, and comparing results to standards.
• Process data collected on site to write a daily report;
• Ensure the execution of tasks and mandates entrusted to you according to the schedule and technical requirements agreed upon with the project manager;
• All other tasks related to the job.
