About The Position

Haleon is currently seeking a Quality Control Intern to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. As a Quality Control Intern, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the quality control laboratories. You will be responsible for supporting daily activities by ensuring the availability of materials, managing samples, and adhering to quality standards. This position will allow you to gain hands-on laboratory experience and develop your skills in a stimulating professional environment.

Requirements

Proficiency in French is required for effective communication and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
High school diploma (or in progress).
Strong interest in the pharmaceutical or health sciences field.
Organizational skills, autonomy, and teamwork.
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Access).
Ability to follow rigorous procedures and adhere to safety standards.

Nice To Haves

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
Laboratory experience (internship, student job, or school project).
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to handle light loads and stand for extended periods.
Comfort in communicating with various stakeholders (technicians, supervisors, suppliers).

Responsibilities

Participate in laboratory maintenance: cleaning glassware, equipment, and work areas.
Manage laboratory supplies: receiving, inventory, and storage of solvents, reagents, standards, etc.
Prepare and distribute samples for stability testing and routine analyses.
Collaborate with teams to ensure a constant supply of materials.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
Perform various tasks such as sample destruction, powder grinding, or record verification.
