About The Position

This full-time position involves staging ingredients for production. The role requires reading the production schedule, weighing or counting ingredients, and placing them on pallets according to paperwork. Responsibilities also include assisting with warehouse cleaning, printing labels, and potentially assisting on the wet or dry side of staging. The job is for the 1st shift, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and overtime may be required based on production needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer
  • Lift 50 pounds 100-200 times during the shift
  • Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
  • Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Talk and hear
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Stage ingredients for production
  • Read next day production schedule to determine ingredients to be gathered
  • Weigh or count ingredients and place them on pallets according to production paperwork
  • Assist with warehouse cleaning
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by Management
  • Assist on wet or dry side of staging as needed
  • Print labels for staging as needed
