About The Position

Responsible for assisting with the assembling, disassembling and operation of stage equipment during a production. This is an hourly position that will be subject to collectively bargained union rules. Requirements

• General knowledge and experience in proper handling of all components of theatrical and entertainment tools, equipment, and systems
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads, walk, stand, sit, crouch, bend, stretch and reach
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Position is a referent of Local 190 union and is subject to pay referral fee and dues directed by the Local 190 and the work referral system in effect.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the assembling, disassembling and operation of stage equipment during a production.
• Load and unload props and materials from truck dock.
• Set up lighting, props, and microphones.
• Move and rearrange furniture.
• Set up risers and musical equipment.
• Clean up stage and backstage area before and after performances.
• Report to the Union Steward upon arrival to work for an event.
