About The Position
Assisting with providing stage set-ups and show positions for the Duke Family Performance Hall. Assisting the TD, and other Stage Technicians in any and all functions with professional staging.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience; technical knowledge is very experienced based.
- School work may not provide all knowledge needed fulfill duties adequately.
- Understanding basic set-up, operations, and maintenance of lights, sound, video, rigging systems.
- Work effectively with faculty, administrators, students, and non-Davidson/touring performers and crew.
- Experienced in basic computer programs.
- Ability to keep a professional attitude at all times.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in technical theater
Responsibilities
- Fill various stagehand roles for the Duke Family Performance Hall events as needed. May include fly rail, lights, or other A/V work.
