About The Position
The HEP team at P&W is developing a new hybrid-electric propulsion technology that will significantly improve aircraft efficiency. By optimizing performance across the different phases of flight, it aims to reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to a modern regional turboprop airliner. The electric propulsion system is a core component of this future hybrid-electric propulsion system and represents a critical product for several of P&W’s initiatives at the forefront of aerospace propulsion. Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing studies in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Be a 3rd- or 4th-year undergraduate student or a master’s student.
- Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

- Ability to work independently
- Experience in requirements management is an asset
Responsibilities
- Supporting and overseeing the installation of the electric powertrain (battery, power distribution, motor, motor controller) in the test airframe
- Developing test procedures for the electric powertrain
- Documenting test results and issue reports
- Managing verification procedures in the requirements management tool
