About The Position

The Staffing Manager is responsible for filling the client calendar by confirming crews for every event. This includes ensuring the right people are assigned in the correct numbers, designating an Event Lead, sending confirmations, and proactively covering for any no-shows. The role also involves managing the top of the funnel by screening applicants, conducting orientations, and maintaining a sufficient pool of candidates to meet demand. Charlotte is being developed as a full market with a goal of building a 100-person W-2 hospitality team by the end of 2027. The Staffing Manager is crucial in converting job openings into confirmed shifts.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years in staffing, hospitality scheduling, or high-volume recruiting coordination.
  • Comfort with an ATS and scheduling tools.
  • Strong phone presence.
  • Ability to maintain clean records.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability for some evenings and weekends when events are running.

Responsibilities

  • Build and confirm crews for every event.
  • Publish schedules 30 days in advance.
  • Manage fill rate and show rate for the market, including a standby plan for large functions.
  • Screen Manatal applicants daily.
  • Conduct phone screens and schedule orientations.
  • Move candidates to shift-ready status within a week.
  • Ensure completion and compliance of onboarding paperwork (I-9, E-Verify, certifications) in partnership with HR.
  • Monitor bench health, including active candidates, those drifting, and those ready for Captain School.
