Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Staffing Coordinator to join our team! The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Staffing Coordinator:

Requirements

Minimum high school education or GED equivalent; some college-level training, preferred.
Possess sensitivity in understand employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the Community.
Good typing and mathematics skills.
Versed in interview techniques.

Responsibilities

Establish staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
Work with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, status changes, terminations, and other necessary information for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.
Interpret human resource policies for nursing staff.
Participate in in-service training.
Assist in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
Work with human resources and department management to schedule training opportunities.
Coordinate with department management in compliance with state and federal staffing regulations.
Maintain UKG system for staff schedules, attendance and timekeeping for payroll.
On call for emergency staffing changes and communicate with department management for compliance.
