The position also maintains accurate records of staffing allocations for communication, data collection, and billing. Additionally, the Staffing Assistant processes scheduling data for payroll, maintains records related to schedules, time cards, attendance, and competencies, and handles various scheduling situations to ensure even rotation and proper placement of staff during low census. The role also includes reception duties such as answering and directing calls, taking messages, and greeting individuals, as well as maintaining and updating department files, and gathering, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing department data for reports and meetings. Finally, the Staffing Assistant monitors and troubleshoots department office equipment.
