Staff TPM - Datacenter Delivery

Cerebras Systems•Sunnyvale, CA

About The Position

The DC Delivery E2E TPM is the single-threaded owner responsible for delivering data center capacity from forecast and site strategy through design, construction, infrastructure readiness, and go-live. The role serves as the single source of truth for delivery milestones, risks, and capacity outcomes, coordinating execution across internal teams and external partners. It operates at frontier scale in a high-ambiguity environment with compressed timelines and critical business stakes. The position owns delivery of AI-optimized data center capacity—including colocation, build-to-suit, retrofits, and owned facilities—from pre-contract planning through operational readiness. It translates demand signals into executable programs, coordinates MW-scale infrastructure delivery with AI system deployment targets, and integrates site capacity plans with power availability, network topology, hardware rollout schedules, and financial considerations. The role also develops scalable delivery mechanisms to support rapid global expansion and requires working across distributed teams with up to 50% travel. The location is the US, with the San Francisco Bay Area preferred; remote work with travel is also indicated.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities or data center operations.
  • Experience managing multi-site, vendor-heavy environments.
  • Strong expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • A proven track record of improving uptime and performance.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence without authority.
  • Clear, structured communication skills and ability to turn ambiguity into executable plans.
  • Ability to operate in high-growth, ambiguous environments with limited structure.
  • Ability to work across distributed teams with up to 50% travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at hyperscalers such as Google, Meta, or Microsoft, or at neo-cloud or AI infrastructure companies such as CoreWeave or Lambda.
  • Familiarity with high-density AI workloads, including liquid cooling, racks above 30 kW, and GPU clusters.
  • Experience with utility engagement and power delivery constraints.
  • Experience with long-lead supply chain planning for transformers, switchgear, and chillers.
  • Experience with commissioning and data center handover processes.
  • Extreme ownership mindset and treating capacity delivery as a personal SLA.
  • Ability to move quickly without compromising systems, balancing urgency with rigor.
  • Comfort working at the intersection of hardware, real estate, and software scaling demands.
  • Bias for action and a track record of delivering results under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI-optimized data center capacity, from pre-contract planning through operational readiness, across colocation, build-to-suit, retrofit, and owned facilities.
  • Deliver MW-scale infrastructure aligned with AI system deployment targets and translate high-level demand signals into executable programs.
  • Decompose complex build programs into workstreams with clear owners, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Build integrated plans spanning real estate, power and energy, design, procurement, construction, and deployment; establish critical paths and manage schedule compression.
  • Orchestrate execution across site selection, utilities and energy strategy, data center design, supply chain, construction and commissioning, infrastructure deployment, networking, security, compliance, and operations readiness.
  • Serve as the primary interface with colocation providers, EPCs, utilities, and key vendors.
  • Identify and resolve risks, constraints, and blockers involving power, equipment, permitting, and supply chain.
  • Own program budgets, CapEx forecasts, and capital allocation narratives; provide structured updates and escalation paths to executive leadership.
  • Partner with capacity planning, AI infrastructure, and finance teams to translate model demand into site-level capacity strategies.
  • Align build plans with power availability, network topology, and hardware rollout schedules, and optimize time-to-capacity and cost-per-MW or cost-per-GPU deployed.
  • Improve end-to-end delivery through standardization of build and commissioning processes, program tooling and dashboards, and post-mortems and lessons-learned loops.
  • Establish scalable mechanisms to support rapid global expansion.
  • Serve as the single source of truth for program health, milestones, and risks, and deliver concise, high-signal updates to senior executives.
  • Operate effectively across distributed teams, with up to 50% travel.
