About The Position

This role is responsible for managing technology operations programs, including financial management, business operations, technology landscape awareness, program definition, program monitoring and control, and stakeholder engagement. The position requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, financial modeling, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication to drive the successful execution of large-scale organizational programs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business, Information Systems, Project/Program Management, Information Technology, Finance, Management related field plus 2 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related experience; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business, Information Systems, Project/Program Management, Information Technology, Finance, Management related field plus 4 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related experience.
  • Financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis experience.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation planning experience.
  • End-to-end program/project management experience including Agile, Scrum, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder alignment and executive reporting experience.
  • KPI design and performance metric tracking experience.
  • Cross-functional team coordination experience.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action planning experience.
  • Business case development and ROI justification experience.
  • Operational process improvement (inventory, logistics and quality) experience.
  • Advanced Excel for financial modeling, KPI dashboards, and reporting experience.
  • Writing and executing SQL queries for operational data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and monitor program budgets, providing estimation and budgeting inputs for business cases, Annual Operating Plans (AOPs), and Long-Range Plans (LRPs).
  • Monitor delivery schedules and cost expenditures for programs, projecting the ROI of future programs.
  • Assess and identify resources required for the successful completion of projects of small to medium complexity and identify potential risks.
  • Cater to key stakeholders and their priorities, participating in business tasks to achieve objectives within the unit or area.
  • Communicate key considerations for the business decision-making process and comment on the organization's business model and financial goals.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement proposed scenarios for projects and initiatives, providing technical insights to influence stakeholder decision-making.
  • Translate business unit/domain requirements into strategies, initiatives, and projects, aligning them with business strategy and objectives, and driving the execution of deliverables.
  • Build and articulate the business case and return on investment, delivering work with demonstrable value.
  • Challenge technology assumptions and develop new organization-wide processes and ways of working related to the domain of expertise.
  • Teach and guide others on best practices.
  • Understand business requirements and priorities to define an integrated plan for the implementation of large-scale organizational programs (10+ vertical tracks).
  • Define the charter, statement of work, module owners, and performance measurement baselines for all modules within the program.
  • Apply understanding of operational and financial factors to recommend solutions that work across business units/functions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of projects against approved milestones and timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional and/or pillar coordination meetings to review schedule progress, health, issues/risks, and key dependencies.
  • Take appropriate measures to bring program health on track in case of adversity.
  • Communicate articulately and concisely in stakeholder meetings involving multiple teams.
  • Convey complex information and address ambiguity for robust technology development.
  • Build productive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Influence teams and stakeholders to take meaningful action with sound recommendations.
  • Independently prepare clear, concise, logically structured, and meaningful reports/material based on facts.
  • Seek and provide constructive feedback, anticipate needs/questions, and respond appropriately.
