The Staff Surveyor is responsible for overseeing technicians and field crews in the completion of large-scale land surveying projects. This role collaborates with Project Surveyors and other teams to execute project scope, schedule, and deliverables established by the Survey Project Manager.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to efficiently execute professional land survey tasks
Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale survey projects
Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD and MS Office
Professional Land Surveyor License (or ability to obtain within 6 months) required

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Surveyors and project teams to execute land surveying projects according to the established scope and schedule.
Supervise technicians and field crews completing large-scale surveying projects.
Serve as a client point of contact and sign and seal plats, drawings, and other survey documents.
Mentor and train technicians on state surveying requirements and QA/QC procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the company’s strategic goals.
