The Program Facilitator’s primary objective is to facilitate Girl Scout programming in school and community settings. This role involves working as a team to facilitate programming for youth, ages 5 to 17, creating a fun and safe environment for all. The facilitator will deliver Girl Scout curriculum to help girls develop a strong sense of self, positive values, seek challenges, build healthy relationships, and become community problem solvers. Key aspects of the role include communicating professionally with caregivers and staff, providing positive reinforcements and redirection, promoting Girl Scout processes (Girl Led, Learn by Doing, Cooperative Learning), encouraging girl decision-making and leadership, and maintaining current CPR and First Aid certifications. The position also involves data entry into a Council CRM tool, adhering to confidentiality policies, attending required trainings, and performing duties in accordance with the Safety and Risk Management Plan.
