We are seeking a Staff Software Quality Engineers to collaborate with software developers to create integration tests for new features This position will be based at 201 Great America Parkway, Suite 432, Santa Clara, CA, 95054 Travel: 5% domestic travel to visit other company locations 2-3 times per year to meet with colleagues. We are unable to consider remote workers or individuals who are not currently based in the US and are not legally authorized to work in the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
  • 8 years of progressively more responsible work experience in any occupation developing and executing software quality projects specific to the Software Development Life Cycle in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA CFR, ISO 9001, AS9100) from inception to production.
  • Demonstrated ability working as a Software Quality Engineer working with Class II or Class III medical devices gained through at least 5 years of work experience
  • Demonstrated ability collaborating with software developers to create integration tests for new features gained through at least 8 years of work experience
  • Demonstrated ability collaborating with software development teams to identify and resolve system defects gained through at least 5 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software developers to create integration tests for new features
  • Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve system defects
  • Facilitate and complete design control tasks in collaboration with the Software Engineering Team
  • Document and communicate test results, and track software bugs and their resolution
  • Author and execute verification and validation (V&V) test protocols
  • Develop and execute Quality projects specific to the Software Development Life Cycle from inception to production; Apply and adhere to IEC 62304/FDA guidance in developing software integration protocols/reports
  • Provide leadership and execution for the software integration of product software.
