Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Two (2) of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python, Java, or C#
  • Operating systems: Linux or Unix
  • Source code version control systems with Git
  • Developing scalable and modular software platforms
  • Software modules used for interfacing, controlling, and automating hardware and measurement instruments
  • Using software solution development to automate data collection, database management, automated reporting, data analysis, and visualization
  • Developing software modules for failure and performance analysis of systems under test
  • Software and system log analysis for debugging and performance improvements
  • Designing and developing database management systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and modular software systems and platforms for wireless solutions.
  • Integrate software platforms and modules used for testing and automation systems.
  • Configure software and optimize end-to-end software platforms for wireless applications.
  • Design and develop high-performance automation frameworks using API services available to different components in the test and characterization platform.
  • Develop visualization and data analysis capabilities in the software framework using programming languages such as JavaScript and Python.
  • Develop and integrate data analysis modules into the test automation framework.
  • Implement automated test scenarios and analyze system logs for test failure resolution.
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and production teams to provide best solutions and resolve automation software development issues for wireless solutions.
