About The Position

The Staff Software Engineer will lead the development and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks, aligned with strategic roadmaps. This role encompasses full lifecycle software ownership, from design and coding to deployment and maintenance, applying cloud-native principles to enhance system resilience and agility, and MLOPs. The position requires technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across teams to drive engineering excellence and innovation. The engineer will engage stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable solutions, ensuring high-quality, maintainable software that supports business objectives and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
  • Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and platform development to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ability to conduct thorough design reviews and apply debugging and remedial actions to improve code quality.
  • Skilled in integrating AI/ML components and developing intelligent automation using multiple programming languages.
  • Demonstrated capability in mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions for sustainable architecture.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in defining metrics and optimizing engineering processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct system design reviews to validate quality, feasibility, and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using modern programming languages and platforms.
  • Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices for sustainability and reusability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement through code quality reviews, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
