The role focuses on creating the admin, governance, and management experiences used by enterprise IT leaders, security teams, administrators, and end users. The engineer will own technical design and delivery across the stack, help determine product direction, and build capabilities that enable large organizations to deploy and govern Claude. The role also includes close collaboration with product, design, go-to-market, enterprise customers, and sales, as well as setting team standards and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of software engineering experience; ideally at least 2 years at Staff level or equivalent technical leadership level.
  • Experience leading the design and delivery of complex customer-facing products across the full stack.
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS products and understanding the needs of IT administrators, security reviewers, and procurement teams.
  • Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating what is learned into technical decisions.
  • Experience building products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments and setting technical direction with limited precedent.
  • Ability to drive cross-team alignment and deliver impactful work through influence.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • A field of study relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise identity, permissions, and administration surfaces, such as SSO/SCIM, RBAC, audit, and usage and spend visibility.
  • Experience building AI products and turning model capabilities into useful applications.
  • Experience as a startup founder or early-stage employee.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical design and end-to-end delivery for enterprise-facing products across the full stack, including admin consoles, governance surfaces, APIs, and data models.
  • Partner with product, design, and go-to-market teams to turn enterprise customer workflows into shipped products.
  • Set technical direction and standards for the team, including architecture, code quality, and development practices.
  • Work directly with enterprise customers, administrators, and sales during key conversations, and translate insights into engineering priorities.
  • Build foundational capabilities that help large organizations deploy, govern, and get value from Claude at scale.
  • Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team through influence rather than authority.
  • Drive cross-team alignment to deliver impactful work.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Optional equity donation matching.
  • Generous vacation and parental leave.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Office space for collaboration.
