Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
3 years of experience as Software Engineer or related occupation.
Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
Designing and developing backend microservices and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
Building and integrating GraphQL and RESTful APIs for web and mobile application layers using Spring Boot and GraphQL frameworks.
Developing responsive frontend user interfaces using React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Designing and managing relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and writing SQL/PL-SQL using PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.
Deploying and managing cloud-based microservices infrastructure using AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Building and managing CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
Designing and implementing event-driven and asynchronous messaging architectures using Apache Kafka and Amazon SQS.
Designing scalable distributed software architecture and leading Agile/Scrum development activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews.
Work with Agile/Scrum software development methodology using at least one of the following tools: Jira, Rally, or Confluence.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop scalable enterprise software systems across the full software development lifecycle, supporting digital commerce platforms including payment processing, gift card management, and recipient experience applications.
Design and implement backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA, following object-oriented design principles and RESTful API best practices.
Build GraphQL-based Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers to optimize data delivery for web and mobile clients.
Develop responsive, component-driven frontend user interfaces using React, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance.
Lead cloud platform architecture and infrastructure provisioning on AWS using EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation, with containerized deployments managed via Docker and Kubernetes.
Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB, with responsibility for schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Implement event-driven and asynchronous messaging architectures using Apache Kafka and Amazon SQS to support high-throughput, distributed systems.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle to ensure consistent, automated delivery across development, staging, and production environments.
Lead software architecture decisions for scalability, fault tolerance, and resilience across distributed microservices ecosystems.
Drive monolith-to-microservices decomposition efforts, improving deployment independence and system reliability.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, lead sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions aligned with business objectives.
