About The Position

The Staff Software Engineer will lead the development and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks, applying cloud-native architecture principles. This role involves full lifecycle ownership of software development, from design and coding to deployment and maintenance, while driving engineering excellence through system design reviews and technical mentorship. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate complex problems into actionable solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The engineer will champion continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance platform performance and developer productivity. Sponsorship is NOT available in this role.

Requirements

  • Experience in AdTech, Retail Media, Search, Video, or consumer monetization platforms.
  • Experience developing reusable iOS frameworks and SDKs.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, analytics, measurement, and performance instrumentation.
  • Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit interoperability, and modern iOS development practices.
  • Experience building high-traffic consumer applications at scale.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
  • Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
  • Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility and ensure quality and alignment with architectural best practices.
  • Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components to support automation and multi-step reasoning.
  • Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements and optimize development processes using data-driven practices.
