About The Position

Google’s software engineers develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. The XR team is building lightweight augmented and virtual reality devices, such as smart glasses and headsets, paired with AI to deliver personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences. In this role, you will work on wearable consumer AR/VR device software across design, development, bring-up, commercialization, production, factory assembly and manufacturing, testing, and qualification. You will develop robust software for environments ranging from RTOS and embedded frameworks to Linux kernel, drivers, and Android hardware abstraction layers, services, and frameworks. You will also optimize software and firmware and contribute to engineering quality through code reviews and workflow improvements.
