About The Position

Works with product teams, analysts, and other engineers to design systems and application software, and mentors junior team members. The role provides technical leadership across feature and module design, development, testing, DevOps, software reliability and support, technical project management, and research and innovation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Understand, read, and review requirements; work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
• Participate in architectural reviews.
• Lead the design of features and multiple modules, provide technical leadership, and evaluate and recommend open-source technologies.
• Develop scripts and code for features and multiple modules; integrate across technical areas; participate in peer reviews; and follow standard coding processes.
• Develop unit tests, fix defects, develop test strategies, and recommend testing frameworks.
• Define deployment and release guidelines; plan environments and cross-functional dependencies; document software configuration management practices; and educate stakeholders on processes and tools.
• Maintain an inventory of production applications, flows, and systems across software engineering verticals; help prepare application support documentation; and troubleshoot basic application issues using knowledgebase documents.
• Provide level-of-effort estimates; work with technical project managers and product management teams to define schedules; and provide status reports and release-management progress updates.
• Investigate, analyze, and evaluate new technologies.
• Mentor junior members of the team.
