About The Position

Google’s software engineers develop next-generation technologies that help billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. This role works on software for accelerator platforms, including TPUs, GPUs, video transcoders, and other accelerators used in Google’s data centers and internal workloads. The team co-designs with hardware engineering and develops, tests, deploys, and debugs board and chip firmware, Linux kernel drivers, hardware design simulators, and software integrated with Google server and cluster configurations, monitoring, and distributed systems. The role supports software powering AI and machine-learning infrastructure for Google’s data centers, Google Cloud, and internal domain-specific computing workloads. It provides technical leadership and ownership of key systems software modules, coordinates execution of new product introduction programs, and engages with the industry ecosystem in support of externalizing TPU accelerator platforms.
