The compensation range for this role is $55K to $65K, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, with peers, seniors, and our clients to build and strengthen relationships Be present and engaged in team and client meetings, and share ideas Conduct environmental investigation and remediation field work Assist with research and data collection efforts as requested by project managers Prepare environmental guidance documents, permit applications, compliance plans, technical reports, and other resources for clients Be knowledgeable of regulatory standards in environmental technical areas of responsibility Maintain confidentiality at all times, both within Onterris and for our clients and affiliates Participate in emergency response services (including 24/7 on-call rotation) Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including completion of all required safety training programs. Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts. Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, reviewing State and Federal regulations, and attending professional workshops. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Geological Sciences from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent environmental industry experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • 1-4 years of environmental consulting or management experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform in-field physical activities (including lifting and carrying equipment).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet multiple project deadlines
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong competence with Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe PDF, Google Earth, Outlook and the ability to learn proprietary analytical systems
  • Basic understanding of state and federal environmental regulations preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Prior environmental consulting experience with commercial, industrial and/or government clientele is a plus
  • 40-Hr OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
  • CAD/GIS mapping experience a plus
  • Technical report writing experience a plus
