Center for Drug Discovery is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our multidisciplinary drug discovery team. This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic innovation and "real-world" therapeutic development. The successful candidate will be responsible for lead optimization of novel protein aggregate degraders, utilizing both proteasome- and autophagosome-targeting modalities. The candidate will receive hands-on training focusing on the enhancement of potency and optimization of drug-like properties (stability, permeability, PK/PD model, etc.). Additionally, the researcher will develop innovative chemical tools and probes to interrogate fundamental biologic processes and mechanism of action. Designs research protocols. Assists in developing and conducting research projects, including experiment design, data analysis and documentation of experiment results.
