About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. The Sr. Scientist - Biochemistry role involves performing analytical testing within a laboratory setting, utilizing various techniques and systems. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Candidates living within commuting distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• Bio-Pharmaceutical experience, with CGMP knowledge.
• Experience in LC-MS and other biochemistry analytical techniques.
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LIMS system

Responsibilities

• Experience with GLP and/or GMP
• Hands-on experience with HPLC (various detectors), CE
• Familiarity with LC-MS
• Experience with LIMS system desirable
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting
• Ability to follow direction
• Method development and method validation
