About The Position

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. This role is in the Forsyth Acute Care Float Pool and works days, with listed hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional life-support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
