About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible; no experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
For PRN positions, one year of hospital-setting experience is preferred.
Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
