About The Position

The Staff RN provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating assigned staff’s patient care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• For PRN positions, one year in a hospital setting preferred.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
