About The Position

The Staff RN provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings, collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in keeping with the organization’s High Reliability Organization responsibilities. Requirements

• Registered Nurse credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as applicable to the patient population and individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document patients’ responses to nursing interventions and progress toward outcomes at appropriate intervals.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care based on evaluative data.
• Participate in process improvement activities aimed at clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency when performing job duties.
