About The Position
The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate
- Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio
- CPR certification required
- Associate degree in nursing
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.
- Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
- Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate, safe manner.
- Implements physician orders as written and assures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care.
