Staff Research Associate
About The Position
This is a limited appointment designed to support ongoing laboratory research activities in the Sello Lab. The selected candidate will contribute to the chemical synthesis of small molecules with potential therapeutic applications. Responsibilities include utilizing laboratory instrumentation for the purification and characterization of synthesized compounds, as well as assisting with general research activities. The individual will be expected to adhere strictly to all UCSF policies and procedures related to laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, and the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Adherence to UCSF policies and procedures related to laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, and hazardous materials handling and disposal.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the chemical synthesis of small molecules with potential therapeutic applications.
