About The Position

The McLean Hospital Corporation Mass General Brigham is recruiting for a full-time staff psychologist for the McLean 3East Partial Hospital Program (PHP). The 3East PHP is an internationally recognized leader in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adolescents and young adults, specializing in the treatment of suicidality, self-harm behavior, and emotional dysregulation. As a DBT program within a leading academic medical center, it offers access to consultation from experts across specialties for comprehensive treatment of complex comorbid conditions. The program is a four-week (20-day) intensive DBT program serving young people aged 14 through early 20s, integrating full-model DBT into all aspects of clinical care.

Requirements

Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology or Doctor of Psychology in Child Psychology
Psychologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
Experience in consultation with patients and staff
Experience with evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT)
Experience in clinical intervention with children and/or adolescents
Experience presenting to large and small audiences
Experience in supervising psychology trainees
Excellent clinical interviewing and assessment/therapy skills to work with patients and families
Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' actions
Strong customer service orientation
Strong quantitative analytical abilities
Ability to recognize medical conditions and refer for appropriate care
Proficient in therapeutic techniques
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to prioritize and respond to multiple demands
Ability to manage time effectively
