Staff Psychiatrist - Inpatient
About The Position
Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) is a 229-bed, fully-integrated, comprehensive system of hospital, clinic, and specialty services. VCMC is noted for its renowned Family Medicine Residency Program and is distinguished as the only Ventura County academic teaching hospital with a residency affiliated with UCLA School of Medicine. VCMC is the designated Level II Trauma Center for the west county and is known for its extraordinary trauma team. The Inpatient Services (Hillmont Psychiatric Center) is a 43-bed unit with a 7 on – 7 off schedule and 10-hour shifts (7 AM - 5 PM PT). Physicians will see approximately 15 patients per shift. EMR system used is Cerner. Traditions Behavioral Health is proud to accept and work with H1B and J1 Visa holders. Due to the patient population, Spanish-speaking is preferred.
