Staff Psychiatrist- Inpatient
About The Position
McLean Hospital, America’s top-ranked psychiatric hospital, is inviting applications for a half-time inpatient Staff Psychiatrist for our Proctor House 1 withdrawal management unit, located in Belmont, MA. Within McLean’s Division of Alcohol and Drug Addiction, led by Roger Weiss, MD, who is a world expert on the clinical manifestations and treatment of substance use disorders, we are currently recruiting a 0.5 FTE inpatient Staff Psychiatrist to provide coverage services for our 21-bed adult unit. This role primarily provides MD coverage during peak absence periods, including holidays, school and summer vacations, conferences, illness, and leave. This position combines clinical care and teaching, with a Harvard Medical School appointment. We encourage Adult Addiction Psychiatry trained candidates to apply.
Requirements
- Medical License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Board certified/Board eligible in Psychiatry
- Addiction Psychiatry subspecialty preferred
